Fares are based upon double occupancy. If you are in need of a room share, we will try and assign you a roommate. If we cannot pair you with a suitable roommate, you will be responsible for the single occupancy rate.
Land-Only Packages & First-Class/Business Class Passengers
You are responsible for your own flights to and from Senegal. Please keep in mind Delta may make flight changes, so you are advised to check with us prior to purchasing your ticket if you will travel on Delta Airlines. If you do not arrive in Senegal at the same time as our flight, we will not provide ground transportation from the airport to the hotel.
Discounted Air for those traveling to Senegal separate from our group
We can provide you with discounted air costs via Delta. You must travel round-trip on our dates of travel. Click here if you would like to book air-only and if we have space available we will contact you. We are not responsible for any individuals who book their airline outside of our group.

A VISA is not required for USA travel to Senegal.
IMMUNIZATION/SHOT – REQUIRED
A Yellow Fever shot is required to travel to Senegal.
In Georgia, the Department of Health issues the shot for approximately $40 or you may obtain from your private physician—just make sure you receive proof of the shot to bring with you. In addition to the Yellow Fever shot, for youth travelers, please make sure all USA immunizations are up-to-date.
ANTI-MALARIA MEDICINE is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for travel to Senegal and should be obtained from your doctor or a health department.
MINORS: Anyone under 18 years old, must have written parent/guardian permission to attend the trip and each parent/guardian will be required to meet with a representative of the trip. If a physical meeting is not possible because you are located outside of the Atlanta, GA area, we require a videoconference with the parent/guardian via Skype. Students will share a room with other students of the same sex and we reserve the right to place a students in triple occupancy if necessary.
Other: Students may also be requested to complete an essay on what they hope to gain from traveling to West Africa. We can help provide you with information to obtain school credit for their participation in the trip.

CONFERENCE CALL:We will schedule, at least, one conference call prior to our departure for everyone to participate. You will be notified via email. On the call, we will discuss group activities, how to dress, what to bring, etc. to make your trip comfortable and rewarding. We may also schedule an in-person Mixer in Atlanta prior to our departure.
Senegal 2012 Trip Policies
Your booking becomes official once a deposit is made. Upon receipt you will receive our trip information and a summary statement. We keep in touch on a regular basis (at least monthly), via email and telephone calls. We will send you a ton of information on Senegal, including videos, websites, articles, and other information to get you accumulated for your visit as well as instructions for meeting at the airport prior to departure. May be made via personal or business check, money order or electronically via PayPal. For all payments made via PayPal, you will be billed for all PayPal fees. These fees will be due on or before your final payment. You will receive monthly (or quarterly) trip summary statements with payment information and important messages. Statements are sent via email or fax. Once your final payment is received, you will receive confirmation.
Payments are due by each scheduled due date listed on this website. If payments are late, we reserve the right to change your accommodations.
Cancellations shall be in writing subject to the following penalties:
10% prior to December 31, 2011
25% prior to January 31, 2012
50% prior to February 29, 2012
100% made less than 30 days prior to group's departure of March 31st and/or during trip. In addition, once coach class airline tickets are issued, they are nonrefundable, but you may receive a credit from Delta depending upon cancellation date. In addition, PayPal fees paid are not refundable.
Cancellations must be confirmed with the Eford Group International or Young People Matter (YPM) in writing either by e-mail or postal mail. Where the client fails to inform the tour operator the client will nevertheless be billed as per the terms stated above. The Eford Group International or YPM has to confirm receipt of cancellation for it to become valid.

DELTA AIRLINE POLICIES
We will follow all policies of Delta Airlines for the air portion of the trip which states: “Delta reserves the right to change equipment or schedules without notice. Delta assumes no responsibility or liability for delays or cancellations due to weather, or any other cause beyond Delta's control. Delta's sole liability to ticketed passengers for delays or cancellations due to weather, or any other cause beyond Delta's control is to refund the ticket in the original form of payment. If the delay or cancellation results from factors within Delta's control, we will transport your ticketed group to their destination on our next flight on which seats are available in the class of service originally purchased. Passengers may also be entitled to a partial refund or certain other amenities in some cases. Delta assumes no liability for delays or cancellations of flights for groups that have reserved but not yet ticketed seats, although we will attempt to accommodate these groups as well.”
